‘Luxury of Landscape’ Installation: Florence,
4th - 18th October 2018

A private palazzo in the heart of Florence will host an exclusive exhibition of especially commissioned works by Australian artists across fashion, fine jewellery, light, sound, sculpture and the visual arts. Curated together with rare Florentine wine and food experiences in the evenings, this multi-sensory event is two weeks of ‘firsts’ you won’t experience anywhere else. Complete with Member’s Lounge and Luxury Store, tickets won’t last so reserve your ideal event before it goes.



The only palace in Florence designed by Raphael, 15th century Palazzo Pandolfini is a historically significant palace hidden in the centre of Florence and incorporating luxurious reception rooms overlooking a stunning secret garden. Owned by the same family over 500 years later, the Palazzo has retained

its original form together with a garden that cultivated several botanical rarities and been awarded prizes by the Società Botanica dell’orticultura [Botanical Society of Horticulture]. Frescoes, chandeliers, light-filled rooms and vaulted ceilings… we look forward to welcoming you to this incredible space.


The Luxury of Landscape has been curated and co-created by Australian artist/designer/photographer/banker Aneka Manners.

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Aneka Manners has been educated in Fine Art, Fashion Design and Commerce, studied at Harvard, exhibited photographic works in Italy and Australia and won a loyal fashion clientele across Australia, New York and London with her exclusive prints and elegant design aesthetic.

A passionate supporter of fellow artists, Aneka has curated an experiential installation that celebrates artists she has long-loved and whose aesthetic and soul sensibility mirrors an aspect of her own. Lisa Cooper is a florist, artist, author and Doctor of Philosophy. Cooper holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Fine Art from the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales and is a permanent artist resident of Carriageworks in Sydney, Australia. Doctor Cooper Studio is her commercial flower business spanning major installations to hand delivered flower gestures. Dr. Cooper’s work has been featured in many Australian and international books, magazines, journals and television programs. while her distinctive flower work has been commissioned by some of the most celebrated in the business and arts world including, The National Gallery of Australia, the Prime Minister’s Office, The Australian Ballet, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Tiffany & Co. Deutsche Bank, Club 21, Omega, Gallery a.s., Toni Maticevski, Romance Was Born and the Sydney Theatre Company. Murdoch Books published her book, The Flowers, in November 2015.


CLAUDIO (aka Rachel Claudio) is Paris-based composer, producer and vocalist originating from Perth, Western Australia. Erik Rico (producer/writer for 2Pac, Jurassic 5 and Q-Tip) says of her : ‘She’s one of the best of the best – a throwback to the future.’ Rachel’s solo work as an electronic artist has gained her worldwide notoriety, creating and producing lush tracks in real-time. Notably her interpretation of the track Hey Ya, which surpassed 2 million views on Facebook as an impressive showcase of artistic, musical and technical skill, using just synth, voice, APC and Push. CLAUDIO has moved people all over the planet with her very unique brand of tailored-for-the-moment experimental soulful pop. 2017 saw Claudio headline at the National Gallery of Victoria for House of Dior’s 70th Anniversary Exhibition, feature as part of Red Bull Music Academy/Ableton Liveschool’s All-Female Producer Australian Tour and release her first EP under this moniker, ‘II:Nocturne’. Lilli Waters is an award-winning Australian photographic artist based in Melbourne. Primarily portraits, women and still life, Waters places figures and objects within environments that take both the subject and the viewer out of their comfort zone. Waters pushes reactions to the natural world and gender roles often with a sense of mystery; objects in shadows and bodies contorting, merging into the landscape. Invited to show works as part of the Venice Biennale Festival in 2017, Lilli has also been the recipient of a number of awards, including Finalist ; Art Aesthetica Art Award 2018, Contemporary Art Awards 2018, National Still Life Award 2017, Highly Commended at the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize and twice Semi-Finalist 2012. Her photographs have been seen worldwide, featured in Elle, Vogue Living and feature films ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ and ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ in 2017/2018. She was recently asked to create a self-portrait for the ABC Art Bites series: ‘Mirror’ in 2018.


Alice Stephens is a Melbourne-based cinematographer with a passion for stories and pulling threads together. Completing exchange programs in Hong Kong and Philadelphia during her Bachelor of Film & Television, Alice discovered her love of travel, and subsequently travelled twice to Kenya to shoot short documentaries for the NGOs Slum Code and Women for Women, together with directing, shooting and funding a short documentary about Israel’s Dead Sea in 2016. Alice’s gentle, quietly commanding and direct nature behind the camera helps narratives form in a raw, unfiltered way creating compelling stories across multiple disciplines.
